There’s been a student movement in Bangladesh and hundreds of thousands students have been protesting for a week for safer roads and justice for those who have been killed in road accidents. I will include a post of someone from Bangladesh so you can learn more about the incident.
by now, the Mobil Data and WiFi services in the country have been restricted so the news of students being killed and attacked won’t get out. Students in Bangladesh are using the hashtag #WeWantJustice to spread the news. Please use the hash tag on twitter because they don’t have access to social media right now. Please reblog, repost, share- do whatever you can to get international media attention and help them. These are children. These are students. We can’t just sit around watch them get killed! They students are just as important as the students in the U.S. They deserve to be safe. They deserve to live. Spread the word.

Why do these articles always promote ignoring manners? Why would you assume that women would find you attractive after you are continuously rude to them and refuse to take multiple subtle no’s for an answer? Please do none of the above. Dont wave your hand directly in our line of vision. Thats rude and annoying. Everyone understands you miming taking off your headphones, just cuz they don’t respond the way you want doesn’t mean they don’t understand. If they’re hesitant, it’s cuz they don’t want to talk to you. Women are not dreaming of meeting a guy more confident than them when they wear headphones, they dream of a guy getting the message and not bothering them on their commute. Women are not looking nice for you. Women are not waiting around for “an alpha male” to notice and bother them. If you aren’t allowing someone to ignore you, you’re literally making yourself SO OBNOXIOUS that you’re ignoring every sign that they DONT WANT TO INTERACT, and ignoring their wants and needs in favor your own selfish demands for attention.
“A woman doesn’t want to have to be forced to control an interaction with a guy, but she will if she has to”. This is true. But not for the reason they say. Women don’t want to be forced to interact, and we don’t want our boundaries pushed to the point where we have to tell you off. It has nothing to do with how “masculine” you are or aren’t.
I’m reaching out to most of my followers today.. I’ve hit rock bottom. Let me explain. Im seven months pregnant. I just recently lost my job and I am waiting to start a new job, but it’s taking a lot longer to start this job sadly since it’s through a home health company. I have $2 to my name, I’m overdue on bills and I’m about to lose everything including my car. I’ve tried to do emergency loans but due to my lack of credit, it isn’t looking too well for me. I normally don’t ask for help, I like to think I can do everything on my own. But I’ve realized I can’t. I can’t even feed myself or my growing baby at this point. I’m not asking for a lot, but any donation would help. I just can’t lose my car and I need to eat. If you can’t donate anything, could you at least say a prayer for me as I face these hard times. It’s just very scary facing this and about to lose everything I own. Thank you everyone.

The part of me that wants to answer like a Problem Page Person thinks you should talk to your mother and communicate with her about what you like about books and reading and how they improve our horizons and knowledge of the world and suchlike, and that it should all end in hugging and a promise from her to let you make your own mistakes and read what you need to read.
The part of me that loves books just thinks you need to hide your books better, and wonders whether putting respectable book-covers on them covering up the ones they already have would do the trick.
I love this reply. But also, half offense to your mom, she needs to get her head out of the 50s. Books “unsuitable for young ladies” are often direct contributors to growing insightful and interesting women (and people in general), and are also often candidates for the “classic literature” genre once aged. Many books that used to be (and even currently are) considered “unsuitable for young ladies” are in fact required reading in middle school and high school literature classes. Slaughterhouse 5 is one poignant example.
So, I took my baby Razzmatazz into the vet today to get a growth on his back leg checked out again cuz I noticed that it’s growing again.
Aaaaand the vet told me what I thought he was gonna tell me .-. He needs it removed. Before, it wasn’t a problem because it wasn’t growing (and he’s 13 and has had it since he was 4) but, since it’s growing again, it’s needs to be removed because otherwise it could burst very painfully out of his leg. Which I don’t want. It also has a chance of turning cancerous. Like, dangerous cancerous.
The problem is, he’s 13 and it’s dangerous to put elderly animals under anesthesia. However, the vet says he’s healthy enough NOW that there shouldn’t be too much of a risk. But this has to get done NOW. The longer we wait, the bigger risk it will be to put my dog under and the bigger the chance of it bursting.
The surgery is 600$. And that doesn’t count bloodwork (120$) and sending the mass to the lab for testing (100$). I have about 300$ right now. I just need a little more help.
