And for the boys, no not wanting it doesn’t make you gay, less of a man, or anything to that effect, you’re allowed to say no too, and when she says “am I just not hot enoughy for you” that is an attempt to guilt you into sex.
Reblogging for IMPORTANT addition.
You are allowed to only sleep with people you like & WHEN you want to. Don’t let anyone else tell you different, ever.
I think leftblr is a little too quiet about sensible drug policy and that’s really telling 🤔
Access to clean needles should be free
Testing kits for fentyl and stricnine and other laces should be free
Narcan should be free (and is given out by a lot of opioid awareness groups thank god)
Access to methadone and suboxone should be free
And this is all like… really basic stuff. I personally want full repeal of the scheduling system and other measures regarding the prison system
Drug addiction is a direct result of suppression of certain populations and the pharmaceutical industry’s push for the normalization of opiate use.
Anti drug policy is almost entirely rooted in racism and it serves to build up our prison system, while simultaneously denying addicts access to safe withdrawal measures. The war on drugs never served to help the people as a whole, and always served to isolate people of color and divide the classes even further. There’s a reason mostly poor people and/or people of color face real time for drug charges.
A lot of you are inherently against drug addicts and supplying them with clean materials because you have no idea how addiction works. If you come off certain drugs like meth, heroin, or spice cold turkey, you could DIE. Needle exchanges provide safety, health screenings, and information on recovery while providing disease free, smooth needles to taper with.
And if we don’t destroy the system that enables addicts (capitalism) then we’re not going to solve the 97% relapse rate that addicts have.
You can’t claim to align with the left if you want addicts to die. It’s a blatant ignorance of why addicts become addicts and it’s an engrained hatred of neurodivergent people.
Reblogging as this is so important everyone! My mum had breast cancer and that shit is not nice so please check yourself ladies and gents! 💕💕💕
I’m also appreciative of this guy for doing this for breast cancer awareness in spite of potential fatphobic shit, so that people can see a video of how to actually do a breast exam that isn’t censored
more bisexuals who are incredibly awkward around their same-sex crushes b/c they were never taught how to flirt in gay
every bisexual who reblogged this feels specifically individually targeted by this post
Me. It me. Same. Me. All me.
My version of “flirting” with my major crush in college was to be totally caught off guard when seeing her outside of class and turn beet red, stutter, and once I literally hid.
n*tasha: (kisses bruce and then shoves him off a cliff, hoping that his fear of falling to his death will bring the hulk out)
bruce: (hulks out because he’s terrified of dying)
thor: hey uh…i’d appreciate it if the hulk could help me save my entire civilization. oh…? you’re not comfortable with that?? okay, i understand, there are other ways that you can help us.
bruce: (sees that the situation is next to hopeless without hulk, and changes willingly in order to protect thor and his people)
Hmmmmmmm. It’s almost as if Nat sees Bruce as a tool/ monster while Thor sees Bruce, no matter what, as a friend 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Yes absolutely, but also to a degree I felt it was partly cuz of who the characters are? Like Nat I think does care about the other avengers, but cuz of her training and job description, she needs to make hard decisions very quickly, which is one of her strengths and also a flaw in this case. I think she’s more of an “ends justify the means” person when it comes to the scale of potential destruction that Age of Ultron had. Whereas Thor has had “the luxury” of lasting, healthy friendships and probly honestly has a LOT more experience with consent and respecting boundaries than Nat. But only to a degree. I definitely think Whedon was more inclined to make Nat do something like that than Thor
I’m all for fighting for marriage equality in the LGBT community. But we’re so focused on that no one knows about this problem.
W…wait Thats a thing????
Yep! The man I refer to as my husband? We aren’t actually married. We can’t be.
If I married him, the government would literally expect me to care for him and be his sole source of income. He would lose all of his benefits, including SSDI. Spouses are expected to share income and that effects ALL of his benefits, even his health insurance. We simply can’t afford to be married.
But it goes even further than that. If I were disabled, our incomes would STILL be combined, meaning BOTH of us would have our benefits cut.
For people reviving supplemental income, their benefits can be cut anywhere from 25% of their current income all the way down to 0%
In fact, one of the stipulations of receiving income under the adult disabled child program (which provides benefits for people who were disabled before age 22) is that they LITERALLY never be married.
I normally don’t link to blog posts as resources, but since social service resource sites like to dress this problem up and make it seem smaller than it really is, I’m gonna call it appropriate! Check it out!
