Okay so I was reading a linguistics post that mentioned -thal being
German for ‘valley’ and thus ending up on a lot of their place names,
and I’m thinking ‘the first Neandertal was found in Neandert(h)al,
right? I bet that means ‘frost valley’ or ‘forest valley’ or some shit. I
spy a chance to make fun of our dead cousins!’
So I looked it up and, boringly, it turns out Neandertal was named after its discoverer, Joachim Neander. Ah well.
Except ‘Neander’ was a German translation of his actual surname, ‘Neumann’. Neander means New Man.
By complete coincidence the Neanderthals were found in New Man Valley and then NAMED NEW MAN (VALLEY) and they’re Homo neanderthalensis, THE PEOPLE OF NEW MAN VALLEY and I just
mmk i’ve got v few followers but i’m hoping this helps at least one person so here I go.
Apple is coming out with something called ““Apple screentime” which will basically allow your parents to see what apps you use when and set restrictions and shit for when you can use what apps. If you are in a situation where you have apps or social media’s or really anything you don’t/can’t have your parents know about DELETE THAT SHIT before September 1st when this comes out. This works through the ““family sharing” shit on your iCloud account so if you can either leave your “family” or use a different Apple ID or something.
If you can’t do that, I personally access Tumblr and discord and YouTube and everything else through my laptop and the Pinterest web browser (yes that’s a thing) so if that’s an option for any of you out there join me.
This may sound hella dumb to some people but like my parents would LOSE THEIR SHIT and ground me if they knew I had tumblr or really anything and that’s the only thing keeping me alive tbh so just be safe out there kiddos.

This is what I’ve been saying from the beginning, and this is why I predict I am going to have one hell of a time getting back into the United States when I come back from my trip in one month.
This is something that more people should be aware of, if only because (in many states, at least) defense attorneys are actually prohibited from mentioning it to jurors. The law allows a jury to return a “not guilty” verdict contrary to the facts of the case, but not for the defense to inform them of that power or to argue for its application in the current trial.

So apparently along with polycystic ovary syndrome I might have endometriosis. Like I had an ultrasound to check for stuff in my abdomen a year or 2 ago and there was no endometriosis. But now I might have it. So that’s fun.
Today I worked extra long. Including commute time, I was on a train at 6:39AM and now at 7:23PM, I’m hoping that I can make a 7:45 train to get home after 8, so I don’t have to wait for an 8:45 train. I’m a part time babysitter/nanny so my day is a lot of stooping, picking up, carrying, chasing, squatting, stairs, and some days I get body slammed by a toddler. The mom had a meeting after work today so I worked an hour and some longer than usual. Im trying to remember stuff from PT but I don’t think I have the energy to do any of it. I hurt all over and tomorrow it starts again.
Is it sad that now I’m in bed, what I’m most upset about is that I didn’t get to animate at all tonight and probly won’t be able to tomorrow either?
Apparently not only can I not seriously invest in more than one interest at a time, but my physical exhaustion and pain also can’t compete with my hyperfixation and need to hyperfocus on said interest???
I am relatively young but in final stage renal failure. I have a higher chance of survival IF I can recieve proper medical care AND LIVING ASSISTANCE in a different state. Get me OUT of Mississippi.

My illness is straight up fatal. Not gonna beat around thatBush, anymore. I seem desperate for help because I AM desperate for help.
My nephrologist has seen enough improvement in my kidney function, lately, to believe someone my age (early 30s) might have a longer life WITH PROPER AND FREQUENT MEDICAL ATTENTION. Sadly, that just isn’t an option where I live.
Please, if you can help me with moving expenses (even just a couple of bucks) I would be grateful. I’m sinking fast in Mississippi and now my doctors are giving me too much hope to ignore. I wanna get out of this situation and I’m working my fatigued, brain-foggy ass off to make it out of here.
