Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles
and capping it up – leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the rubbish, but you’ll never make it!!!

If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little – in about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with enough force to remove some your extremities. The liquid that comes out is
boiling hot as well.

Don’t pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter, etc.

Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little water. A small piece of foil.
Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!! No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc.

Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed of this.

  • Do not touch it
  • Do not touch it
  • Clear the area around it. It will explode on its own in time.
  • Once it explodes, do not make contact with the liquid inside. If needed, flush it away with large amounts of water.
  • Do not try to detonate it. You’ll probably be disfigured.

I’ve seen what these can do. The acidic liquid inside can strip the paint off a car.

i found one in my back yard, when i let my dogs out, i pulled them back inside, took my cousins bb shotgun and shot it from a safe distance (i was in my house and shot from the screen door. When it went off, my family and neighbors came running to see if everything was ok. I told them what happened and to watch out for them. 

These things are not a joke! When we went to check the damage there was a fucking hole in the ground. The dirt in my yard is like CLAY.

I am so sick of the misinformation going around about Standing Rock. To begin with DAPL was set to go through a town called Bismarck, a town that is mostly white. The people of this town expressed concern for the pipeline leaking, and said they didn’t want it.

When the pipleline was re-routed, it was set up to go through land that belongs to the Standing Rock Sioux. For those who don’t know what I mean by “belongs to” because “Oh me oh my, this is American land,” no, it isn’t. Not all of it. There is land that belongs to different Native tribes. Including part of the land that the pipeline will be going through. This was not done with permission. How was this done? This was done by bulldozing up the graves of ancestors. (If that doesn’t bother you, read it as the graves of our veterans; the graves of our presidents’ families; the graves of your family.)

Outside of the media finally watching us for the last six months, the camps have been there before that. I know someone who was there on April 1, 2016. That’s well before the media started paying attention in August. Well before. The camps have been self-sustaining. Yes, there have been donations. Yes, donations were made in physical items, money for items, and money for legal funds. That money and those items went to keeping something beautiful alive.

People who were arrested had numbers written on their arms, they were kept in dog cages. Protectors who were peacefully in prayer had untrained dogs set on them to attack. There are photos floating around of one trainer who couldn’t keep her dog, who had blood in its mouth, under control. In sub-zero conditions in the early morning protectors were hosed down with freezing water – this includes the elderly and children. (Yes, there were children. Guess what, they were getting schooled there. Self sustaining.) Police shot bean bags, rubber bullets, and flash-bang bombs into the crowds. A woman had her arm blown to pieces because of this. 

At every point since the beginning, there has only been peace on our end. No rioting, no fire, no weapons, no alcohol, no drugs; nothing but peace. And from the end of law enforcement has been violence. Even residents had been violent, and police did nothing to them. But they sure as hell arrested people from camp for praying – a nonviolent act.

If you are not Native, you don’t get to dictate what happens on our lands. I don’t give a damn if the government does. The government is breaking a treaty right now, ignoring tribal sovereignty. Just because they do it, does not mean you get to. I don’t care how tired you are of hearing about it. We’re tired of having our lands stolen and having our rights violated. 

Please boost this. I’m tired of the propaganda being spread with the intent of bigots and settlers to erase Native voices and justify colonial violence. Also realize alot of this even beyond the pipeline, is settlers acting out of pure anti Native hatred. People don’t understand unless they have lived in the Midwest, just how deep white supremacy is there.

1) very conservative based
2) doesn’t work on mobile and goes offline constantly.

This one, works extremely well. You can choose to be completely anonymous or tell them everything about you. You get a reply in less than ten minutes each time you send a response and as you can see they will text you a second time if you don’t reply to make sure you’re, yknow, not dead or something. They are trained and I SWEAR ON IT. It’s the best I’ve found because it’s directly a literal texting based crisis line.

my name’s mathias and I’m an 18 year old disabled trans poc and for 5 years I’ve lived with my abusive mom after she fought for custody over me in court following my parents divorce. and now I have to get out in 30 days.

in these five years my mother has been controlling and emotionally abusive to a massive extent, going so far as to add herself as a secondary holder on my bank account to see my activity; controlling my food intake; not buying me clothes when I need them; restricting where I go, who I see and when; not allowing me to get a job or a car and forcing me to stay home and clean her house for her.

last night (February 5, 2017) after an argument got heated and she physically assaulted me, I had enough. I’ve covered for her and lied to social workers about her physical abuse in the past because she guilt tripped me over my youngest sister.

a close friend of mine called the police for me, and when the cops finally showed up, and she manipulated the story so it seems like I picked the fight and I drove her to hitting me, like it was her only resort. this is not the case, but I digress.

I have been given thirty days to get out of a home in which I have lived for nine years.

because I am not allowed a job I do not have any money to my name.

First Nations Chief Coreen Sayazie calls for action after 30 recent suicide attempts in Black Lake

Another First Nations chief is calling for swift action as the suicide crisis in northern Saskatchewan continues.

Black Lake Chief Coreen Sayazie says her community of just over 2,000 people has seen 30 suicide attempts in the last six weeks.

She wants to see more trained mental health workers specialized in suicide intervention in the province’s north. She claims only two mental health workers currently work in the far north and says their hours are being cut, with new limitations on overtime.

First Nations youth are suffering mental health issues in epidemic sized amounts and barely anything is being done. This is a disgrace.

Without compensation for healthcare, my existing deterioration would accelerate and at the age of 22, I am terrified of having a fraction of a normal life expectancy (see ”read more” for details).

The rest of my life will be decided at a court hearing to determine if I can sue for compensation despite the length of time since the accident. [Court docs]. Success at this hearing absolutely requires a barrister. My SO and I are both medically ill poc without income. We are trying to get him disability and I am going to start work in March, but he has some big medical bills from mental health treatment that need to be paid! One bill alone is over $2,000. We are negotiating with the institution to try to break that specific bill up into smaller payments over several months, but we are still going to need to pay before March and there are other overdue bills that also need to be paid off. I also have bills for student debt that I need to pay monthly. I am also looking for other temp job opportunities for the time being but am not having any luck so far.

I am willing to read for any subject or question (except those I would need to be a doctor for, or any involving a person’s future death, or similar matters that would be irresponsible of me to read for) and any size spread! Literally every little bit helps!

Apparently Nickelodeon wants to build an attraction in Palawan, Philippines . 

This might seem fun for some people, but for us it’s not. 

You see, Palawan is known for its non-commercialized islands and untouched beaches. There are only a few resorts in there, and the government limits tourism population there. Here are some pictures of our beautiful islands:

Nickelodeon, however, wants to capitalize the island of Coron, Palawan. They’re going to build a resort and theme park there. They claim that they want to “spread environmental awareness” but they’re really not. Building this resort will disrupt the marine ecosystem; thus destroying the environment there. Also, Palawan is our last ecological frontier in the Philippines. If they’re going to continue to do this, more and more big companies will cash-in to commercialize Palawan- and I really do not want that to happen.

I know petitions won’t do much, but at least we can prove a point that Palawan should not be disrupted. Please sign this petition, so that it will not only show that us Filipinxs don’t want this, but people from different countries as well. Please spread it around as well, so that people from different countries can be aware of what Nickelodeon is doing.
